Modern Slavery is a term used to describe both offences in the Modern Slavery Act 2015 of the United Kingdom, such as slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour, child labour and human trafficking.
While Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking are generally not considered a concern among our direct suppliers, no company or sector is completely immune to forms of Modern Slavery.
As an international company in the healthcare sector, we are committed to taking global responsibility and improving our practices to address the risks regarding Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking, taking appropriate measures to prevent any incidents of a such kind within the organization and the supply chain.
For that reason, Nihon Kohden Europe has issued a voluntary Modern Slavery Statement.
